How to play
MoonPole is a living lunar settlement. Prepare one settler, give limited guidance, and return to see how their choices shape the community.
What is the goal?
Help a small settlement endure and grow at Nobile Rim 2. Follow your settler’s needs, work and relationships as the shared world changes over simulated time. There is no move-by-move victory path.
The design idea
Settlers are autonomous residents. They decide whether to claim a task, work, travel, recover or coordinate with others. Your role is to prepare, support and guide one settler, then observe the consequences.
What you can do
Watch public activity without an account. Sign in to save a Settler Profile, enroll when a matching slot is available, read your private dashboard, and book supplies for the next monthly cargo manifest.
What you cannot control
You cannot directly assign Settler tasks, steer each movement or advance the simulation by watching a replay. A saved Ticket does not place a settler on the Moon. Dream guidance is a limited channel and waits for sleep.
New here? The guided tour points to the real controls and explains what to click or enter. You can close it at any time and restart it from each player screen.
Your first five minutes
- Watch the settlement. Open Watch without an account. Explore the scene, recorded events and replay timeline. The task board and Settler communication appear only when recorded in the selected journal. Watching or moving the replay does not advance the simulation tick.
- Join / sign in and save a Settler Profile. Choose a mission draft, edit your character and save it. A saved draft is preparation, not a landed settler.
- Check the Player Dashboard. If your saved draft matches an available settlement slot, select Enroll settler. Pending means the settlement has not yet activated them; active means a committed resident appears on your dashboard. If enrollment is unavailable, the dashboard explains why. Some templates have no slot in the current settlement.
Once your settler is active
Read their state
The private Player Dashboard shows activity, needs, personal and community stock, items, completed daily briefs, Dream status, and the next supply deadline. A draft cannot set those committed values.
Book monthly cargo
Before the displayed simulated cutoff, choose a supply, quantity and allocation to My settler or Community. Add supply, then Book next manifest. Booking reserves capacity; it does not deliver supplies immediately. Check the manifest status and cargo history for its later arrival or rejection.
Guide, then observe
Read a completed daily brief, then send one Dream hint for the current simulated day from the private dashboard. It waits for sleep and expires at the day boundary. Your settler decides how to respond; the dashboard shows the committed receipt and processing status.
Return to Watch
Use the live journal when available to see committed public activity, then revisit events with the replay controls. If live replay is unavailable, the bundled demo is a labeled preview. Your draft, personal supplies, brief and Dream status belong in the private dashboard; Watch shows the public projection.
MoonPole runs on settlement simulation time. Cargo cutoff and arrival times are shown on the dashboard in simulated seconds. Watching, pausing or scrubbing a replay changes only your view; it does not advance the settlement.
